Meet Miss Rebecka
Hi everyone! My name is Rebecka Curtis and I have been teaching piano in South Edmonton since 2016.
I began teaching in Calmar, Alberta in 2007. I can’t believe I am already able to say I have 19 years of teaching expirience!
I would say my own teaching style is inspired by my own musical education…with a more modern approach! My goal is to inspire each of my students in a way that is truly tailored to them. I 100% believe each one of my students are the very best piano players! Nothing brings me more joy than watching them perform confidently, play with great technique after struggling to master it, get great exam and festival results after weeks of coaching them, and watching them collaborate together. I want my students to have the best education so I am constantly furthering my own knowledge and trying to create new ways for them to learn!
When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my son and family, trying new recipes, a warm cup of tea, and cuddling with my cats!
